The Bank Cup in volleyball in 2024

Regulations.

 

1. Purpose and tasks

1.1. Find out the best bank in MIXed team volleyball.

1.2. Promote the development of volleyball and popularize it among the population.

1.3. Create a high-quality volleyball cup competition.

 

2. Contestants

2.1. Any team of a financial company can participate in the competition, which is able to ensure financial obligations and fulfill all the points specified in the regulations;

2.2. Each team may apply 12 players in its application;

2.3. All team members must be employees of the specific bank or its subsidiary companies as of May 1, 2024.

2.4. Teams can apply players from any league;

2.5. Teams play in uniforms of the same color with player numbers.

 

3. Medical coverage

3.1. Each participant of the competition is responsible for his own state of health;

3.2. Each team is responsible for providing their players with first aid. In case of necessity, the organizers of the competition ensure that emergency medical assistance is called to the venue of the competition.

 

4. Competition management

5. Time and place of the competition

5.1. The competition takes place on May 11, 2024. The competition starts at 10:00;

5.2. Riga Volleyball Center sports hall, Ganību dambis 20a, Riga;

5.3. For the convenience of the players, the games will be played on two fields at the same time.

 

6. Competition procedure

6.1. During the games, 4 men and at least 2 women are on the court at the same time - a total of 6 players;

6.2. The team must start the game with 6 players (if an injury occurs during the game, the team is allowed to finish the game with an incomplete team);

6.3. Substitutions are allowed during games;

6.4. Libero position players are allowed. Man changes man, women changes woman;

6.5. The mock-up system of the competition will be determined depending on the number of teams that have applied.

 

7. Applications and participation fee

7.1. Team participation in the competition can be applied for electronically until March 20 - janis@evl.lv. Required information – name of the bank, details for invoicing. The team composition must be submitted on the day of the games before the team's first game.

7.2. The team is fully registered when the entire participation fee of 550 EUR + VAT is paid to the EVL bank account. Billing details: Enthusiast volleyball league fund, Reg. no.: 40008267671, Account no.: LV44HABA0551044013654, Bank: AS Swedbank.

7.3. For teams that missed the application deadline, participation in the tournament is decided separately and the participation fee is set at 650 EUR per team;

7.4. If the team withdraws from the competition, the participation fee is not returned.

 

8. Competition inventory and judges

8.1. Chief judge of the competition – Jānis Stukuls (26427173)

8.2. The games are played with FIVB approved balls - Mikasa V200W.

8.3. If there is a dispute between the teams about the match ball, then the referees draw the ball.

 

9. Awarding

9.1. The 1st-3rd place winners of the Bank Cup competition are awarded with a team cup, medals and surprise prizes from supporters;

9.2. The best players of the championship are awarded with individual prizes;

9.3. A banquet is held after the competition (the location will be specified depending on the number of teams that have applied).
